Equalizer Sabre features a quick-change design that permits the removal and replacement of old blades in mere seconds. The unique design has a steel pin that holds the blade in place.
Sabre has a mere width of only 1/8" unlike many tools of this type which have a wide area where the blade locks in place, enabling the tool to fit easily into areas below the dash. The handle is also long enough to accommodate both hands for a firm, comfortable grip.
Please note, you must cut forward then lift Sabre out so the blade clears the urethane. If you drag Sabre backward it can push the blade out of the tool.
The total length of the tool is 20" with a blade installed.
Comes with one standard utility knife blade. Uses all standard utility knife blades and our extra long utility knife blades (ULB582).
